It Started with a Promise to Do Things Right
At Living Designs Furniture, our story began with a simple belief: good enough is never good enough.
More than 45 years ago, our founder, Youval Meicler, arrived in the U.S. from Israel at just 21 years old and took a job sweeping floors at a furniture manufacturer. His curiosity, passion, and work ethic quickly moved him through the ranks as he learned every part of the craft, from the workshop to the showroom floor.
But the more he saw, the more he realized how often quality was sacrificed for profit. Youval knew there had to be a better way to create beautiful, lasting furniture without the unnecessary markups.
So he built it.
Living Designs Furniture was born from this mission. We are here to offer thoughtfully made, customizable furniture at honest prices, crafted with care right here in Houston.
